Four Generations. One Standard of Excellence.

A family-owned cheese company blending Italian tradition with modern food science — trusted by operators, brands, and makers for over a century.

"We've never chased scale for scale's sake. We've chased the ability to say yes to our partners."

— Chris Lotito, President

It started in Corato, a small town in southern Italy, where our family first learned the craft of artisan cheesemaking. That passion came to America in 1952, when Lotito Foods was founded with a simple belief: that authentic Italian cheese, made the right way, would find its place in the American market.

For decades, we grew the old-fashioned way — by earning trust, one partner at a time. What began in a 1,500 square foot facility has grown into a 118,000 square foot operation with national reach. Along the way, we've added R&D, custom formulations, and advanced manufacturing — but the craft that got us here still runs through everything we do.

Today, Lotito is still family-owned and operated.

"Our grandparents taught us the craft. We invested in the science to grow without forgetting where we came from."
